Hep Free NYC is a network comprised of the Hep B Coalition, Hep C Task Force and Hep C Clinical Exchange Network (HepCX). The network brings together health care and social service providers, public health professionals, advocates, and consumers to network, share best practices, identify needs, and develop and implement strategies to improve health outcomes of people at risk for or living with hepatitis B and C in NYC.
The latest version of this project allows for community sharing of information about Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and co-infection of Hepatitis C and HIV / AIDS. The community participants include healthcare providers, hospitals, physicians, NGOs, Community Organizations, Government Agencies, Pharmacies, Insurance Companies, Outreach Organizations, and Academic Institutions
The Solution: QuikSite created a content-based web site in WordPress. The site is optimized for SEO. Images, videos, PDFs, and other documents are shared through the Community Site to all participant partners. The Customer maintains the content and updates the posts, events, and other details. Project Overview
Website design, web development, customer and end-user training and support to create and build a complex community participation website for healthcare providers, government agencies, and non-profits to collaborate and share information on Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, as well as Co-Infection with HIV / AIDS consulting site for African Investment, Trade, and Government Relations.
The website is built using a membership-level version WordPress so that the customer's staff of writers and editors can easily update the site or add new content. A community calendar feature allows for posting of hundreds of meetings and seminars. Job Postings and News updates are handled through WordPress post and tagging taxonomies.
