Boyd Mechanical Corp. is a privately held mechanical contracting company specializing in plumbing, fire protection, heating, ventilation and air conditioning as well as design/build construction management throughout New York City, Westchester County, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, DC. and the Delmarva Peninsula regions.

Boyd Mechanical Corp. needed a website to showcase their client projects and service offering, highlighting target geographic areas in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. It was important that the design be responsive so that the customer’s sales staff and owners can display the site on their laptops and tablets while making corporate presentations to prospective clients. The site includes forms to manage inquiries and opportunities from: new clients, new employees, and subcontractors.

The Solution: QuikSite created a new website design using extensive use of images. Where appropriate, these are in widescreen mode, used in menu navigation, in client portfolios, and in sliders to illustrate examples of services. The site was developed using WordPress as a Content Management System. Designed around Boyd Mechanical’s brand colors, a parallax effect is used where appropriate.

Boyd Mechanical does not maintain an IT staff to handle technology issues.

The Solution: QuikSite provides managed hosting services, which includes upgrades to the suite of web software, security and backup services, and technical support to the customer.
