Adobe Typekit

Adobe Typekit Adobe has been a leader in type design and technology for over 30 years. New programs like Adobe Type Concepts focus on agile font development and community feedback, while the Adobe Originals typeface collection is known for its quality, elegance, and broad language support.

QuikSite maintains a subscription to the Adobe Typekit font service that brings thousands of fonts from foundry partners into one library for quick browsing, easy use on the web or in applications, and endless typographic inspiration. Whether in independent studios or large corporations, designers use fonts delivered by Typekit to create beautiful, original typographic designs.

Typekit is the easiest way to use real fonts on your website. By adding code to web pages, you are able to use any of the thousands of fonts in the Typekit library. Establish your brand identity with the perfect typeface, and trust that you won’t have to make substitutions when working across different media. Your sites should be stunning in every context—including mobile devices.

Typekit provides the support you need, with extensive browser testing and documentation. You can use fonts in design apps and on the web, bringing cohesion to your hybrid print-and-digital projects.

Typekit Font Selection

Typekit is a subscription font service that brings thousands of fonts from foundry partners into one library for quick browsing, easy use on the web or in applications, and endless typographic inspiration.

You can browse the Adobe Typekit library of thousands of fonts and sort by various criteria. Fonts are classified by type — San Serif, Serif, Slab Serif, Script, Blackletter, Mono, Hand, and Decorative.

You can further sort by properties, which include fonts for headlines (otherwise known as “display fonts”), paragraphs (for text), relative weight, width, x-height, contrast, and Caps Only.

Then you can further sort by Language Support (such as Japanese, Arabic, or other foreign languages), as well as web availability. Only fonts that are available for use as web fonts can be selected for your website. Most fonts are available for use on web, but often there are fewer weights available on the web versions compared to the sync versions, which can be synced for use on your computer.
